North American Conservation Areas Database (NCAD)
An integrated geospatial database of major conservation areas for Canada, Mexico and the United States will be developed. The database will be suitable for representation in GeoGratis, the common Internet window (CEONet) and the National Atlas of Canada. Access to the database by jurisdiction, ecoregion and management authority will be possible to enable conservation planning, management, research, education and communications.
