Nova Scotia civic address service
Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations (SNSMR) is working with GeoConnections to create a service that will allow for the dependable coding of civic address information and for the plotting of addresses and transportation routes for activities such as emergency services, transportation planning and bus routing. The service will use the Nova Scotia Civic Address File, which incorporates the Nova Scotia Road Network. As a result of this project, an array of civic-oriented geospatial layers will be made available on the Internet via the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure.
