GIS and portal software integration in Nova Scotia

In conjunction with GeoConnections, Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations (SNSMR) are building the GeoNOVA Portal, based on the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure architecture and endorsed standards. The project will create corporate portal technology by integrating several commercial Geographic Information Systems (GIS) products and portal applications that were built in different development environments. This preliminary design will set the stage for future development of the GeoNOVA Portal. SNSMR is mandated to provide the single-window access to the government of Nova Scotia's non-social services for the citizens of Nova Scotia.
