Web-Enabling Eastern Arctic Geoscience Data as a Contribution to the CGDI
This project proposes to Web-enable a series of the Eastern Arctic data sets held in GSC offices across Canada, and make them discoverable and accessible through CEONet. Nunavut has remarkable natural resources potential, a key position to unlocking the potential of the entire Eastern Arctic, and to bringing exploration and investment to the Canadian North through expanding geoscience knowledge in the region. Nine (9) data sets have been identified, and additional four (4) data sets are currently being evaluated for inclusion in the project.
