Renewed GeoConnections
The 2010 Federal Budget announced renewed funding for the GeoConnections program. The Budget provides $11 million in funding over the next two years to continue development of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) and to provide consolidated geographic-related information to Canadians via the Internet.

Land Information Data Subscription Project (LIDS)
This project will develop a process to enable on-line subscriptions to geospatial data. It will use the Web to expand access to the Government of Ontario's geospatial data holdings through a user framework and data extract tool. A subscription management system and a metadata inventory of holdings are included.
