These use cases illustrate how decision-makers and developers are employing the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) and its standards to address specific challenges. Also included in this section is information on coordinating systems, and recommendations to ensure access control and reliability of CGDI services.

GeoConnections CGDI Interoperability Project
The CGDI Interoperability Pilot (CGDI IP) project was a collaboration between GeoConnections, provincial geospatial data custodians, the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and member companies. The project developed a prototype national Web Feature Service network to exchange and update geospatial information in real time.
