La Salle Redboine

Formed in 2001, to address watershed environmental concerns, the La Salle Redboine Conservation District (LSRBCD) is a partnership of eight Rural Municipalities, four towns and small cities and the provincial government. Their goal is to mitigate flooding and erosion problems, protect wildlife habitat and education of the public concerning watershed management. The Conservation District will assemble a resource inventory for each of the twelve sub-watersheds in its area of concern. This inventory will be used to target high-risk areas for remedial action and protection.
