Overview:
An existing water quality database has been linked into an existing climate and hydrometric information system, allowing tabular or spatial queries in a table/report format or a map format. The existing climate and hydrometric information system has also been greatly enhanced by the addition of metadata consisting of background text, images and graphs for select stations. The existing climate and hydrometric station information web site has been updated to include the display of the additional tabular information, images and graphs related to the stations. The water quality stations, along with their tabular information, have also been added to the web site's coverage. Project Breakdown: The project can be broken down into three components: a database component, a mapping component, and a web component. Each of these components incorporates the addition of water quality stations and the addition of a metadata catalogue for hydrometric and climate stations.
